Electric Island 2013 – July 1 – Dj Sasha, Guy Gerber, Audiofly and more

Canada Day is fast approaching. Everyone is excited about the upcoming activities on that day. It is also the opportunity to have a bonding session with your family and friends and if you are looking for both going to a musical event and relax then here is one that you might want to check out.

image 4_lovethiscitytvFor the first time after the 2009 Olympic Island will host a musical event. Platform, Embrace and Footwork nightclub joint forces in producing “Electric Island”. Electric Island Concert is a musical event with picnic. It is a new summer series of events that showcase both international and local DJs and Artists.

Event: Electric Island Concert+Picnic Series
Date: May 20, July 1, August 5 and September 2, 2013
Location: Toronto’s Centre Island

The first event took place on Victoria Day Weekend. DJ Seth Troxler headlined the first event. The island was electrified on the first event by the effects that were provided by Lumatronic. The crew has also done effects for events like Harvest Festival, Alien Influx and more. The LED was timed with the music beat increasing the excitement with every music the DJ played. The sound was taken to the next level when Sennheiser sponsored for the sound system. It will be composed of Moog Audio and a brand new K-Array sound system. The 1st series menu was taken care of by Sliced. The menu had an amazing wide variety of food. Even if there is an official catering service people are not restricted to bring their own food.

The second event on July 1, 2013 will be lined up with the DJs/artist Sasha, Guy Gerber, Audiofly, Jeff Button, Rafwat&Chorniy and Night Vision. The event will be from 1:00pm until 10:00pm. Tickets are now available for $17.50 for general admission. There is also a ticket bundled with a ferry ride for only $23.50 so you save some bucks. The menu will be courtesy of P&L Catering. The event audio will be provided by PK Sound. Their speakers will provide high fidelity music with the bass speakers that would surely create a pleasing audio effect.

This is a great event. It’s perfect location if you want to have a picnic under the sun together with your friends while enjoying the scenery while enjoying the great music.
