Why not visit the Balearic Island of Ibiza?
Located near Spain, Ibiza is home to some of the hottest clubs and wildest festivals in the summer months. Spending even as little as a week in Ibiza will be a trip to remember.
This little island is quite dormant during the winter season, but comes alive during the summer. The hotels, bars and restaurants open first, followed by the clubs and venues. By July and August, the music festivals are loud and bumping and that’s when tourism rates soar high above the clouds. Once autumn approaches, the closing parties commence and Ibiza reaches its migration period again in the winter.
Some good events to check out would be the free BBC Radio 1 Weekend music festival during the first weekend of August, and the club closing parties during the first week of October.
The main three tourist areas are Playa D’en Bossa, San Antonio, and the capital of Ibiza, Eivissa. Playa D’en Bossa and San Antonio have many party resorts and open spaces for concerts and festivals. For the city life, visit Eivissa and witness the abundance of shops, restaurants, cafés and bars.
