Yacht Week: Greece

For those of you who are wondering what Yacht Week is, it is an event that is pretty straightforward with its concept and goal; to sail around one part of the country along with whoever you wish to take with you. This is an easy escape from the real world with the company that you choose on a boat that safely takes you around with ease. Enjoy the sights of the cities or countries that you visit in the perspective from someone along the ocean line, enjoying the view with a great stage to do it from.

There are four places for 2013 in which you can choose from for the sailing activities. Greece is one of the major cities. In signing up for this tour and sailing you will be visiting places in Greece such as:

1) The Lavrio Marina

This port is no more than an hour drive away from the airport. This is the port where your yacht will be patiently waiting for you and your friends, ready to be taken into the sea for your relaxation and sailing needs. It is advised that sailors come slightly earlier in order to make sure that they still have time to take care of some last minute shopping as well as papers that might still need double checking.

2) Poros

If you are a fan of places that are well kept between two islands, then you are going to want to stop by Poros Harbour. This is known in town as the largest of the all the ports existing in the Greece bay area. It is also well known for its nightlife and shopping areas.

3) Ermioni

This offers a spectacular view of the sunset from the port. It is located smack dab at the center of Saronics.

4) Plaka

Now this is the right place to find yourself when you reach the night time. Plaka is a cozy, rather humble port located around the Peloponnesus Peninsula. If you are looking to experience a unique Greek dining experience that you will not get anywhere else as well as great nightclubs and bars within the vicinity, Plaka will be waiting for your arrival.

5) Dhokos

This is a port where most tend to head for when they want to do some night swimming and music playing, what you would call a typical beach party in one of the most beautiful places on earth.

6) Hydra

This is known as one of the most prized islands in all of Greece because of its magnificent nature and beautiful structure. Omilos Bar is a place widely thrown around in this island and once you visit it you will know why. Apart from that, the very design of the island itself with the winding pathways and slopes is so gorgeous and once you make it high enough, you are granted with one of the best views in all of the country.

In order to make a booking for yachts for yourself and your friends, all you have to do is visit their website. The prices of the yacht range from 350 to 2000 Euros per passenger, all depending on the size of the yacht that you are planning to rent.
