ARMIN VAN BUUREN

Buuren has truly marked his ground for 2012, it is clear he is here to stay as he has marked his spot as one of the top. Not only is he number one here, DJ MAG has named him number one four times in a row on their Top 100 poll which is a first in DJ history. Producing and Dj’ing for over 15 years Armin has definitely earned his spot. This trance DJ loves the music, his most recentfamous track: Orjan Nilsen ‘Between the Rays.’ In 2011 Buuren released the official remix album ‘Mirage’ which includes remixes by Avicii, Dash Berlin, Kyau & Albert and many more. His radio show “A State of Trance” is tuned in by millions of listeners and is broadcasted on one of the biggest radio stations in the U.S. You can catch Buuren at any hot spot were at as he is frequently spinning at Amnesia in Ibizia, Spain.

DAVID GUETTA

Guetta has really taken on two roles in the last few years, not only is he a top DJ for electro and house he is also an amazing producer. Guetta has collaborated with some of the top artists in the world and made number one hits with the likes of Usher, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Kid Cudi, Kelly Rowland and LMFAO to name a few.

You can catch him at any one of the events R U Tainted is at as he is known to be featured at any Ibizia party all over the island, his “Fuck Me I’m Famous” compilations were even named after his parties in Ibizia. He has exploded in the mainstream world of music and has really helped bring electro trance music to the forefront. What’s interesting about him is how he considers every music genre to be the same, you can hear it in his tracks as he often likes to mix different genres into one song.

TIESTO

Tiesto has really exploded and his music is all over the charts! He recently just finished his College Invasion tour in LA playing the largest show soley for a DJ ever in US history and he is not going anywhere anytime soon. LikeGuetta, he has been able to move over into the mainstream and dominate the charts collaborating with huge artists. Tiesto is a Dutch DJ and record producer of electronic dance. He has played at every superclub on the island of Ibizia, Spain and holds residency at Privelege; the largest club in the world.

DEADMAU5

Deadmau5 is awesome simply because he is from Toronto! All jokes aside everybody knows who Deadmau5 is and if you don’t you should be ashamed of yourself. The man with the mouse mask is an unstoppable force and has made quite a name for himself with hits like Raise Your Weapon, I Remember and Ghosts and Stuff. He has played all around the world to some of the biggestaudiences and has just finished a North American Tour. Deadmau5 has become an icon for dance and electro music and shows no signs of slowing down.

AVICII

Avicii has really climbed to the top just recently in the last couple of years. In 2008 Avicii won Pete Tong’s Fast Track Competition on BBC Radio 1 and his track Manman was released, this brought Avicii to another level as he began to gain attention internationally. With his non-stop touring Avicii recognizes the importance of performing he has become huge in America. He was debatably copied by Leona Louis on her summer single ‘Collide.’ Many fans have called him the best DJ in the world, whatever he’s doing its working as he is continuing to make a name for himself and entertain his fans with his amazing live shows.

PAUL VAN DYK

Van Dyk won best Club Night at the Trance Awards for Cream at Amnesia, mixed a compilation for “Cream Ibizia” and holds residency at Cream, Amnesia. He is currently working on his upcoming album and is sure to blow us all away with something fresh and innovative. With that being said, The new Evolution tour has been a highlight at every major show around the world. It made its debut at the Coachella festival in 2011 and was an incredible show like usual!

ABOVE AND BEYOND

With the release of their second album ‘Group Therapy’ and their third ‘Sirens of the Sea’ or ‘Oceanlab.’ This group specializes in trance music and can be seen frequently in Ibizia, Spain at club “Space.” They have also been at the residencies for Cream in Ibizia, played at Marquee in Las Vegas to name a few. Track of 2011: Sun and Moon.

MARKUS SCHULZ

Markus Schulz is frequently in Ibizia spinning, he debuted at “Ibizia Summer Sessions.” His style: Unicorn slaying trance music. The release of his cd Dakota got a great response from fans and newcomers alike, he is also set in place to do a fourthcoming major tour.

SANDER VAN DOORN

Sander Van Doorn frequently plays in Ibizia, Spain at Amnesia; biggest club in the world. He also held/holds residency at Eden. He is changing up his style a little bit now collaborating with different vocalists and songwriters as well as exploring more song based tracks. He has released his second compilations of ‘ Dusk Till Dawn’ which is receiving great reviews and attention from fans. His style: EDM, crossing genres.

SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA

Last but not least we have power group Swedish House Mafia who is also dominating the charts in the mainstream music world. With recent hits like Save the World and One, they are certainly making a name for themselves as well as making house music more popular amongst other audiences. They have had muchcollaboration with celebrities which have pushed them to the forefront. Swedish House Mafia is becoming a force to be reckoned with, they know what works on the dance floor and make music specifically for that. These guys are just getting started watch out!
