This Summer Toronto Music Festival 2013 (EDM)

Summer in Toronto has never been exciting than this before. Music Festivals are coming up the place to heat up the summer more as the best DJs will surely spice up the night with their mixes. Aside from great music and dance that you will enjoy, drinks and great food would surely give you a night of non-stop party. Tickets are already sold out for some tiers.

We will check out 3 big events here and the lineup of their 5 top DJs that will be performing. Sensation White (June 1, 2013), Digital Dreams (June 29-30, 2013) and Veld (August 3-4, 2013) Music Festivals are places that EDM enthusiasts can party in Toronto. They are bringing the best DJs in town to fill the party with the best club music.

Event: Sensation White

Date: June 1, 2013

Venue: Rogers Centre, Toronto

Sensation White started last June 1, 2013. Participants were required to wear white or else they can’t join the event. The event was titled Ocean of White and as such the stage were decorated with a giant jellyfish floating on a rafter above the stage.

DJ Lineup:

Eric Prydz – Best known for his hits like “Call on Me” and “Another Brick in The Wall. The Swedish DJ blew the event with his beats which perfectly fits on the event.

2000 and one – 2000 and one is a regular DJ doing the Sensation White tour around the world. The Amsterdam-based DJ founded the longest running techno label, 100% Pure.

Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano – The duo is hitting charts now with their single “Firefaces”. They would surely infect you with their sound that everybody loves.

Fedde Le Grand – Fedde plus Sensation is a sure hit. He has continuously toured the world and produces great tracks (Raw and Long Way From Home being the latest). Fedde how to perfectly give Sensation crowds what they want.

Otto Knows– The Swedish DJ debut on the electronic scene in 2010 with his remix Hide and Seek. Otto Knows would upbeat the event with impossibly joyous remixes.

Event: Digital Dreams

Date: June 29-30, 2013
Venue: The Flats at Molson Canadiad Amphitheatre, Toronto

Digital Dreams will be held on June 29-30, 2013 at The Flats @ MCA (Ontario Place). Tickets for the two-day are already sold out as of this moment and only Tier IV ($149) and Tier II ($249) tickets are available. Foods may be brought but they should be properly packed and sealed. Any glass containers will be confiscated. Digital cameras may be brought inside the event but professional cameras and DSLRs are not allowed. There are three sets of stages (Dream, Echo Beach and House of Boom) and DJs for Phase 1 (June, 29) and Phase 2 (June 30). Some of the best will be introduce below.

DJ Lineup:

Paul Van Dyk – (Dream’s Stage on June 29, 9:15 PM-10:30 PM) With sold out tours around the world, this grammy-nominated artist would surely make the night kick.

Boris – (Echo Beach Stage on June 29, 5:00 PM-6:00 PM). Based on New York, DJ Boris is now ready to explore and hit Canada with his great remixes.

Doctor P – (House of Boom on June 29, 9:30 PM-10:45 PM) A music lover at heart. He will share his passion for remixing on stage.

Wolfgang Gartner – Producer/DJ Wolfgang Gartner will perform on the Dream’s Stage (June 30, 9:15-10:30 PM).

Dubfire – (Echo Beach Stage on June 30, 10:30 PM-12:00AM) Grammy-winning recording artist Dubfire would make the night alive with his mixes on the

Event: Veld Music Festival

Date: August 3-4, 2013

Venue: Downsview Park: 1-35 Carl Hall Road, Toronto, Ontario

The Veld Music Festival is on August 3-4, 2013. The music festival will take place in Downsview Park: 1-35 Carl Hall Road, Toronto, Ontario. Expect a sunny weather. You should bring protections against the sun since the event will start 11 AM EST each day. Point and shoot cameras will be allowed but not DSLRs and professional cameras.
