Honda Indy Toronto is known to be the largest sporting event that happens every year in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This event is formerly known as “Molson Indy Toronto,” which was a Champ Car World Series since 1986-2007. The Honda Indy Toronto for 2013 organizers gladly announced that the event has acquired new

Toronto Maple Leafs players such as David Clarkson (a Canadian award-winner of Memorial Cup in 2003 ice hockey player) and Dave Bolland (a Professional and popular Canadian ice hockey player). They will be the 2inTO Grand Marshals for the 2 INDYCAR races during the event.

image 2_lovethiscitytvThese two famed people of Mimico will be performed to give the command to the drivers to start their engines aside from being the standard Grand Marshal on this thrilling episode 2013 Honda Indy Toronto. At the same time, they will be meeting the drivers of the INDYCAR, travel around the INDYCAR paddocks as well as participating in every respective race throughout the Drivers Parades.

On Saturday July 13, 2013, Dave Bolland will be functioning for the duties of the Grand Marshal and on Sunday, July 14, 2013, meet David Clarkson.

According to the Honda Indy Toronto President, Charlie Johnstone that everybody is thrilled to welcome David and Dave for the most awaited event as grand marshals. Since the Honda Indy is intended for the Toronto event, so it would be perfect for the 2 local natives and the Toronto Maple Leafs members to give the race its famous call for drivers to begin their race.

Last 2012, Bolland officially initiated his foundation” the Dave Bolland Foundation” that aims to help shape the future and empower the young people from demote communities to achieve their success. On the other hand, Clarkson in the previous year has announced his affiliation between his charity foundation the Clarky’s Kids with the Graham Rahal Foundation. These foundations both raise funds to reach their goals in helping children who are chronically ill and their families.

During the current year, Justin Wilson (the winner on the streets of Toronto in 2005) as the pilot of the Dale Coyne Racing No. 19, he will carry the logo of Clarky’s Corner during the race day in favor of the fundraising efforts for the charity. The charity of Clarky’s Corner Children is actually an umbrella foundation which was newly initiated in Toronto, Canada to deal out funds to several programs aiming to develop the children as well as their families’ lives.

Apart from celebrating the annual world-class racing, this Toronto event is also a festival featuring food trucks, craft beer, and shows of BMX stunt, live entertainment, charity events, interactive games and more exciting activities with some celebrity appearances.
