Get a taste of Taiwanese culture at TaiwanFest, which will be taking place at the Harbourfront Centre, on August 23, 24, and 25.
The festival includes a myriad of events and activities, all showcasing the beauty of Taiwanese culture, from musical performances, to food exposes, lectures, film screenings, and artistic exhibitions.
There will also be many fun and educational activities, including a free consultation of Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as a survey game, where participants will be asked questions related to Canadian-immigration issues, such as lifestyles, cultures, and values.
For kids, there will be a DIY workshop, and many Taiwanese folk games, such as Chinese chess, shuttlecock, a three-legged race, and beanbag game.
And if you need a break from all the events and activities, you can visit the bubble tea lounge and enjoy a glass of the Taiwanese drink.
TaiwanFest is sponsored by Telus, and organized by the Tzu Chi Foundation and Harbourfront Centre.
