We’ve pretty much accepted that autumn has to happen and we’re okay with that. Just because the weather is chillier doesn’t mean that the concert scene has to cool off. With the number of celebrities coming to town, Toronto will be all sorts of hot this October. We rounded up our top six concerts to check out and we want tickets to all of them.
J.Cole
October 4th Scotiabank Arena | Tickets
J.Cole doesn’t have to prove himself anymore. Everyone in the game knows he’s lyrically talented and he’s the perfect mix of old school and new school hip-hop. His sound pays homage to some of his idols and yet he still manages to captivate listeners with his own sound. His latest album, KOD was a surprise but definitely the good kind.
Lil Pump – The Harvard Dropout Tour
October 9th Rebel Toronto | Tickets
Lil Pump is the opposite of J.Cole. He definitely represents the new school of hip-hop and people either like him or don’t. There is no in between with this rapper. He’s had hit songs and with many people wanting to count him out, he keeps proving himself somehow with hits.
Christina Aguilera – The Liberation Tour
October 11th Casino Rama Resort | Tickets
This is a little further than Toronto but it’s Christina Aguilera. Aguilera is a legend and any time we get a chance to see her perform live we take it. Her voice is a powerhouse and it’s compared to some of the greatest singers. She leaves everything on the floor with every performance she gives and her Liberation Tour is nothing short of that.
Jessie J
October 16th Rebel Toronto | Tickets
Jessie J started out as a songwriter for some of the biggest artists and it was no surprise when the musical threat stepped into the forefront. When she belts out tunes on stage, she commands the room. This beauty manages to keep crafting chart-topping hit after hit and shows no signs of slowing down.
Afrojack
October 19th Uniun Nightclub | Tickets
The Dutch DJ and producer is known for topping DJ Magazine’s Top 100 DJs every time. He may not make number one every time, but Afrojack is in the top ten. He appeared on the scene in 2014 and he’s been working with labels ever since. He’s worked with Ester Dean, Nicki Minaj, and even David Guetta.
Hoodie Allen
October 30th Mod Club | Tickets
Hoodie Allen is persistent in his pursuit to make people listen. The rapper quit his job at Google to chase his music dreams. Fans adore the rapper and find themselves bobbing their heads with his music. He’s worked with many artists and he’s a believer in quality not quantity when it comes to dropping albums.
As usual, this isn’t all of the October concerts. This is just a bit of inspiration to get you started and out of the house. What concert are you checking for in October?
