Six August Concerts in the Six

This August literal madness will occur between Electric Island Civic Day and Mad Decent Block Party. But save some of your money for the concerts coming to town because you’re not going to want to miss them. We picked six concerts to check out in The Six and they’re worth every cent.

Drake: Summer Sixteen Tour | Air Canada Centre |

August 1st (Sold Out)

Hopefully you have your tickets already or you know someone trying to get rid of them because these tickets are hot as the summer. Him and Future are currently on tour making this quite the summer to remember and everyone’s digging “Views.”

Gwen Stefani | Molson Canadian Amphitheatre

August 4 (Tickets)

The “Holla Back Girl” is currently on tour with rapper Eve which is a pleasant surprise. The show is sure to be full of energy, a few throwbacks and most definitely memorable to say the least.

Fifth Harmony | Molson Canadian Amphitheatre

 August 11 (Tickets)

Fifth Harmony is proving they are more than just a one hit wonder. The girl group churns out hit after hit after hit. Their commercial success is due to pure talent. “Work from Home,” is just as catchy as their last track. They’re currently on their 7/27 Tour and bringing along Jojo with them.

Youtube FanFest | Molson Canadian Amphitheatre

August 13 (Tickets)

youtubefanfest2

There is a festival for everything and Youtubers Lily Singh, Sam Tsui and Megan Nicole know that. They’re all entertaining in their own right and it’s always quite the intimate show. It’s as if these guys jumped right from your Youtube screen and on to the stage in front of you.

Meghan Trainor | Molson Canadian Amphitheatre

August 30 (Tickets)

Meghan is hot right now! The singer and songwriter is currently on her Untouchable Tour and her confidence anthem “Me Too” is currently blowing up radio waves. She makes hit after hit and adores her fans. So we’re sure she has some tricks up her sleeve. Hailee Steinfield and Common Kings are coming with.

Kanye West | Air Canada Centre

August 30 (Tickets)

The Saint Pablo Tour is stopping in Toronto and Kanye sure knows how to make an entrance. At this point the rapper doesn’t really need a marketing team if he keeps stunning the world with his style of art. The video “Famous” is still up for interpretation and he’s maybe facing a lawsuit for it but that doesn’t stop his show.
