Summer is almost over! Where did it go? We rounded up six awesome concerts to check out this August so you can wish summer 2018 farewell the right way. This August there are a lot of people coming to Toronto from Drake and Migos to Taylor Swift.
Taylor Swift Reputation Tour
Rogers Centre | August 3rd (Tickets)
At this point does Taylor need to even promote her tours? Like, is that job on her team even necessary? As Swifties pack stadiums every go around we’re certain this concert will be crowded and loud but that’s what people come for right?
Veld Music Festival 2018
Downsview Park | August 4th-5th (Tickets)
Veld Music Festival is live every year. This year’s headliners are Migos, DJ Snake, Martin Garrix, and Marshello. We’re totally okay with being broke and or exhausted this August to ensure that we’re at Veld.
Jeremih and Teyana Taylor
The Phoenix | August 16th (Tickets)
Teyana Taylor was hot even before dancing in Kanye West’s viral music video. The star is currently touring with Jeremih and starring on BET’s hit “Hit the Floor.” Jeremih has made a name for himself and came a long way since his debut years ago. Who knew “Birthday Sex” would be the first of many hits?
Ella Mai
Adelaide Hall | August 17th (Tickets)
Ella Mai’s hit song “Boo’d up” is sitting pretty on the charts and shows no signs of falling off. The songbird just dropped the remix and it’s going to be stuck in our heads for the rest of 2018.
Drake and Migos
Scotiabank Arena | August 20th (Tickets)
Aubrey and the Three Migos Tour hits Scotiabank Arena this month and honestly, we’re interested. We’re certain that the arena will be jam-packed full of people who somehow know every word of every song. Drake and Migos are the type of artist that don’t just perform live they turn concerts into movies.
G-Eazy
Budweiser Stage | August 22nd (Tickets)
He considers himself the hottest white rapper since the “one with the bleached hair.” His words, not ours. His confidence is enough to intrigue but his lyrics and raw talent is the reason you’ll listen.
Of course, this isn’t all the concerts. These are just some of our favorites. What concert do you have your eye on this August?
