Feeling a good walk down nostalgia avenue? Then you most definitely wont want to miss on one of music most interesting come backs to date. On Friday October 18th, you can catch Sisqo performing his hit song “The Thong Song” at Dragonfly Nightclub in Niagara Falls.
Commonly recognized for his electric hair style, outrageous outfits and of course “The Thong Song”, Mark Andrews “Sisqo” is much more than just a 90’s one hit wonder. He is a singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, and dancer. As well as producing solo material, Sisqo was the lead singer of the R&B group “Dru Hill” who separated right before the new millennium. His music career took a 13 year hiatus as his last and only second studio album “Return of Dragon” was released back in 2001. Though many thought that was the last we could see of him, Sisqo is catching everyone by surprise and completing the trilogy with the release of “The Last Dragon”, scheduled to drop in 2014. Sisqo attempted to release this album in 2008, but for reasons unknown the album never had the opportunity to hit shelves.
He seems to have no problem reaching out of his comfort zone, as he appeared in CMT’s show “Gone Country” which showcases non-country artists competing for the chance to win a country music recording contract. Though comedic to some, this displays the versatility of Sisqo as an artist and his dedication to the music industry.
