Summer is coming to end but that doesn’t mean the party is over! September has quite a few concerts that you don’t want to miss. Here are a few of our favorites to get you started.
Electric Island
Electric Island is like the official goodbye to summer. This Labour Day event features headliners like Adam Beyer, Loco Dice, Recondite and Frank and Tony. What’s better than watching live music on Toronto Island enjoying the (hopefully) nice weather. You can grab your tickets here and all your friends will love you!
Check out our Civic Day Coverage of Electric Island.
DVBBS
September 7– Echo Beach
The Canadian duo are famous for their hit “Tsunami.” Last year they made quite the waves during their performance at Ultra Music Festival and Electric Daisy Carnival. On the seventh expect Echo Beach to be packed with people ready to dance, party and jam! (Tickets)
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony

September 12-13 – Danforth Music Hall
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony are legendary. This Grammy winning hip hop band is a part of hip hop history and they’re known for their quick lyrics and nice melodies. They’ve inspired generations of rappers after them and show no signs of bowing out of the music industry anytime soon. (Tickets)

Erick Morillo
September 13 — Cabana Pool Bar
Erick Morilla is bringing the energy to Cabana Pool Bar as a part of the official season closing party. Erick is known for being the party wherever he goes. Expect lots of people and an amazing view. Those are just bonuses because we know the music is going to be awesome. This is a rain or shine event that you’re going to want to make it to. (Tickets)
Janet Jackson

September 15 – Air Canada Centre
You shouldn’t need any convincing to go to a Janet Jackson concert but when she puts on a show, she gives it all she has. Janet is promoting new music for the first time in quite a while. Some would even say she’s the greatest female artist ever. Expect lots of dancing and impeccable live music. Her show is expected to be packed so it would be smart to get yours before they’re gone. (Tickets)
Ed Sheeran

September 20 – Air Canada Centre
Everyone’s favorite redhead is making his way to the Toronto area. Ed is currently touring with Christina Perri and his shows sell out quickly. He’s known for creating an intimate environment at his shows and covering popular songs in original ways. (Tickets)
A$AP Rocky
September 25 – Echo Beach
A$AP Rocky, Danny Brown and Vince Staples are going to have Echo Beach looking like a music video most likely. A$AP cracks jokes and has fun on stage. He’s known for being down to earth. It’s definitely quite the experience to watch him perform. He doesn’t just want you to watch the show he wants concert goers to be a part of the show. (Tickets)
Of course, as usual this list is comprehensive. Did we forget your favorite? Who are you looking forward to see?
