It was reported Saturday afternoon that Paul Walker, star of the Fast and Furious franchise has been killed in a single vehicle accident.  While details are not fully available, the initial reports are that Paul Walker was the passenger of a Porsche that lost control, crashed, and exploded.  The identity of the driver are not known at this point in time, but the identity of Paul Walker was conclusive.

 

Paul Walker was a native of Glendale California and first broke onto the Hollywood scene in the late 90’s in the movie Pleasantville and Varsity Blues.  Later he continued his rise to stardom with She’s All That and The Skulls.  In 2001 Paul joined the cast of Fast and the Furious and maintained his role throughout the franchise.  He was slated to reprise his role in Fast and Furious 7 to begin in 2014.

Recently, Paul revealed that his daughter Meadow had moved from Hawaii to California to be with him.  Other interesting aspects of his personal life were the fact that he was an avid surfer, and a brown belt in several different martial arts.
