New Years Eve is one of those nights that involve you and your friends going back and forth for weeks about what to do, where to go, and most importantly who to see play. With every single venue in the city hosting the “hottest” party, we will save you the problem solving and make sure your night meets the standards of being one the best New Year’s to date. Toronto’s favourite boys are meeting up at one of cites top venues to ring in the New Year with the best of EVERYTHING “Toronto”. Carlo Lio, Nathan Barato and The Junkies are going back to back all night long at Coda for what we can expect will be not only one of the best NYE’s parties but one of the best parties of the year in Toronto.
Coda has entered world class stature after their collaborations with Platform, Embrace, Way of Acting, Sound Mind, and other top industry groups, bringing us the world’s top DJ’s on the regular for sold out shows and some of the most talked about parties Toronto has seen to date. What a perfect way to celebrate an epic year in our city.
The energy when these guys play together for their “UNION” nights is indescribable but we talked to Carlo and Nathan to get an inside look on what we can expect NYE…
“UNION is our baby. Not only do we look forward to this night every year because its on home turf, we get do it with the people we love who have been following and supporting us for many years but its also a night where we can be who we want to be. It’s one of those shows where we can’t feel more free if we tried. We get to touch on so many different genres we may not get he change to do normally in a 1 or 2 hour set. We get to connect and the 4 of us become 1 DJ. Its a really amazing feeling. The vibes are always untouchable since the first minute to the very last track of the night. For those who have yet to witness a UNION event, expect deep grooves to nitty gritty techno. This is definitely extra special because its the first one we’ve done on NYE. Expect to sweat!!- CARLO LIO
“The crowd can expect upfront techno…no holds barred bombs”- NATHAN BARATO
