Music festival season never pauses but it’s good to sit back for a good laugh! From September 20th to 29th have a breather with the Just for Laughs 42 (JFL42) Festival. It includes 42 comedians and some hand picked interactive enjoyable activities. This unique festival allows festival goers to decide their lineup by selecting the stand up acts and panels they would love to see. The hardest decisions to make is what comedian you want in your lineup and how can you fit so much funny in ine days? With 42 comedians it was hard to pick our favorites but we narrowed it down our top six.
Chris D’Elia
Chris D’Elia is a goofy comedian. He’s starred on shows like Undatable and Whitney and his delivery is insanely funny. It’s either hit or miss, you either like nothing Chris D’Elia performs or you like nothing. There is no in between but we enjoy his impersonations. He recently impersonated Eminem and we couldn’t stop laughing.
Ken Jeong
Doctor turned comedian Ken Jeong is hilarious. He cemented his place in the comedy realm with his debut role as Mr. Chow in The Hangover. “Did you die” will forever go down as one of fan’s favorite lines. We’re certain you’re going to enjoy his style as who wouldn’t?
Lil Rel Howery
Lil Rel Howery was famous before “Get Out.” That lead role (I don’t care what anyone says he made the movie) as a proud TSA security worker did shoot him to stardom. Before “Get Out” he stared on the hit show The Carmichael Show.
Neal Brennan
Neal Brennan doesn’t get the spotlight he deserves. We were sold at co-writer of The Chapelle Show. How do you top that job? As a teen he went from being a doorman at a local comedy club to being on stage and performing hit comedy. Talk about starting at the bottom though!
Wanda Sykes
If you’ve never heard or seen Wanda Sykes, than you must be a Generation Z millennial or you must live under a rock. She’s an original queen of comedy who’s starred in movies such as Monster-in-Law, Evan Almighty, and even Ice Age. She’s versatile.

Jo Koy
Jo Koy is mostly known for his appearances on Chelsea Handler’s hit show Chelsea Lately. He’s performed on Jay Leno, BET’s ComicView, and Jimmy Kimmel to name a few. His witty comedy is bound to make even the most serious people laugh. He takes every day lives and makes it comical.
