Luminato Festival 2015 makes a grand start with the Unsound Festival, transforming the Hearn Generating Station into a sonic playground for two days. It initiates a complete fusion between conventional and modern note, harmonizing classical and experimental music with a compilation of pitches and thrills along with laser and scent technology. This kind of electronic and experimental music has invited innovation in its heightened from. Discovery of new artists and international collaboration has raised the overall standard harnessing the true essence of festivity.
7 Monologues narrates seven individual voices, sharing stories in seven unique ways. It empowers the story teller through movement, music, imagery and figures of speech. Stage performances, night dances, solo performances with visual effects make this night an unforgettable episode altogether.
Be it a multi-layered mega-fiction performed by four actors or Cuba’s hottest contemporary dance troupe sharing a slice of Havana, all of it will leave you mesmerized. The cake has its icing with live music by Grammy Award-winning jazz composer. My One Demand (June 25 to 27) is a live, interactive film shot in one go that tells the tale of seven people and their journey across Toronto. Also be prepared for a spree of spontaneous and never-ending images compiled together with audio visual clarity.
Luminato Festival 2015 goes green and environment friendly with the Garden of Light. It reflects the brighter, lighter, greener and the most livable habitat with 10 days of food and beverage, cabaret, music and unexpected interventions. The indoor venue called Festival Shed hosts live interactive activities. The best part is, it is family friendly and free of cost, so starting from noon till 2 am there is something for everyone. It is going to be so much fun with food and beverages catered by Parts and Labour.
Each night in Luminato Festival 2015 will promise a heightened ecstasy with a fusion of musical talents. So, bring your family for unlimited fun and entertainment.
