Journey and the Steve Miller Band are stopping in Toronto to rock the Molson Amphitheater on Thursday, June 19 as a part of their summer tour. Joining the two bands will be Tower of Power, one of the most dynamics rock bands largely known for its unique urban soul music.
After having sold 80 million albums worldwide since the band got together back in 1973 in San Francisco, Journey has yet to lose its popularity, given that their notorious rock anthem, “Don’t Stop Believin'”, is currently listed as the top selling song from the 20th century on iTunes history. Due to their unforgettable live performances, the band was ranked as one of the Top 15 tours in the world in 2011.

With a record of 30 million albums sold worldwide throughout the 40 years they’ve been performing, the Steve Miller Band is also one of the top-selling rock bands during the 70’s and 80’s. The band’s success faced a pause that lasted for 17 years, but managed to get back on its feet with the 2010 album release Bingo!, which also saw them on their first European tour in 25 years. Having already toured Europe twice, the Steve Miller Band is now on a world tour, starting from the U.S and Canada and stopping in Australia and New Zealand.
With these 3 bands performing many of their greatest hits, the triple threat concert will be one you won’t want to miss! For tickets, visit the Ticketmaster website.
