Love This City TV: Hey guys, what have you been up to?
BITPARTY: Hey, we have been crazy busy in the studio the past couple months. We are pumping out a few new originals within the next months or so that we can’t wait for you guys to hear! We also have a handful of shows that we booked after ElectroDash, so things have been pretty busy for us lately.
Love This City TV: How did you guys come to work together and how is it working as a duo?
BITPARTY: We actually met each other on the first day of orientation at our old college. Afterwards, we became friends and hung out constantly. Eventually, we began DJing together at some local clubs and house parties. After performing at a few larger events, we decided to take our music career more seriously and began producing. Performing as a duo has worked out great so far, it allows one of us to “hype up” the crowd while the other focuses on mixing. It’s also been a great help in the studio, as we both have different styles that allow us to experiment and create unique tracks. While we have had our ups and downs in the past, we wouldn’t change it for anything.
Love This City TV: How would you describe your musical style?
BITPARTY: Our main style is progressive and electro house, but we like to experiment with trap and other genres from time to time.
Love This City TV: Aside from EDM, what other music genres can we find on your iPods?
IGOR: Everything, you name it and I probably have it. I’ve loved all types of music my whole life, so I like to keep my iPod stuffed with variety. It’s great when I get stumped while producing music. I start listening to different sounds and it really broadens my perspective and gives me new ideas to run with.
CODY: Pretty much anything. Like Igor, I enjoy taking a break from EDM to clear my head when I am having writer’s block.

Love This City TV: You guys played at this year’s ElectroDash at Wonderland – how was that experience?
BITPARTY: Fantastic! We were shocked at the amount of energy that the crowd had, even after their 5K run.
Love This City TV: Are there any crazy experiences/moments from Summer 2013 you can share with us?
BITPARTY: This summer was actually pretty low-key for us. We played a few shows here and there, but spent most of our time in the studio. Unfortunately, we had to deal with some health problems as well that put us out of commission for a while. However, now we’re both back to 110% and ready to kick things back into gear!

Love This City TV: Are there any projects or collaborations in the works?
BITPARTY: We have some very exciting plans for the near future that we unfortunately can’t talk about quite yet. However, we do have a couple original tracks and a potential remix that are set to drop soon, so be on the lookout for that!
Love This City TV: Where do you see BITPARTY in 5 years from now?
BITPARTY: We plan to work as hard as possible to produce top-notch dance music and get our name out in any way that we can. EDM means everything to us and we don’t plan on stopping until we reach the top.
