With summer coming to an end, it is the perfect time for Harvest Festival which takes place in Burk’s Falls on September 13th – 15th, 2013. This electronic music and art festival supports a lot of Toronto’s local talent. Not only is there going to be music, the festival is proud to have Zero Gravity Circus come back to provide the crowd with an unforgettable performance. This local circus group will perform their Fifth Annual Lunacy Cabaret, showing off heart racing acts like acrobatics, fire acts, contortionists and more; the entire show will definitely keep you on your toes.
Of course with the weather fluctuating so much, the creators of Harvest Festival have thought a couple steps ahead and have useful art structures scattered around the grounds. The Thermo dome is a well fabricated structure to provide warm, cool and a dry area for all people to enjoy a meal or a drink, it’s designed to give you a temporary shelter from the outside environment. The Pyramid and The Crash are both well put together art pieces which will leave you feeling astonished and mesmerized. All art installations took a lot of hard work and dedication to put together, so of course they all deserve to be shown off to the world.
Last but not least, what makes this festival so different from the rest is you are able to camp on the site. The festival is surrounded by beautiful mother nature and it’s a fantastic way to get away from the city and enjoy earth the way it was meant to be. If you’re looking for an awesome and totally affordable weekend to sit back and relax to some music, I suggest you grab your friends and buy your tickets now!
