Grand Opening of Clubhouse Event Space
On June 23, 2016, the Clubhouse Event Space located at the Royal Woodbine Golf Course opened their doors to share their recently renovated venue space to the public. With floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the golf course, the venue offers a killer view and delightful food menu items. To get more insight on the space, I spoke with Dave, the venue manager, to get a better understanding of the new space.
Q: What makes Clubhouse Eventspace a standout venue?
A: Clubhouse Eventspace offers a beautiful atmosphere fit for a smaller number of guests. Often times when couples are searching for a wedding venue and they are having a smaller wedding, they end up being in the back of a huge venue with not as many luxurious options. Here at Clubhouse Eventspace we offer a luxurious and unique venue that feels private and special. So even if your guest list isn’t extravagant, your event space is.
Q: Other than being a beautiful event space, are there any other positive aspects to the venue?
A: Of course! It would have to be our location. We are literally right off of the 401 and 427, which means we are super easy to get to. Not only that, but we also have free parking – in the city, that is pretty hard to come by.
Q: When people are planning a celebration, they often have a vision in mind. What would you say Clubhouse Eventspace can offer in terms of an event vision?
A: Clubhouse Eventspace is really modern, clean and chic. With some incredible interchangeable LED lights, the space can be transformed into any vision. So if your wedding colours are pink and white, we can make that happen with our coloured LED lights.
Q: The first thing that comes to my mind when I think about an event is definitely food. What is so different about your food selection and quality?
A: For people who want to choose food items instantly we do have a set selection of different menus. Especially when it comes to traditional items and backgrounds, for example if you want an Italian cuisine at your wedding then we have a menu for those specific foods. At the same time, if you have dietary restrictions, our in house chef can create anything your looking for. It really is designed so that we can make our clients happy. We are not a venue that hosts multiple weddings or events on the same day, so when it comes to our food, we focus on what the client wants. Nothing is ever prepared weeks in advance and frozen. It’s always fresh.
Q: Describe using one word the overall feel of Clubhouse Eventspace.
A: Unique.
Q: Why should people choose Clubhouse Eventspace over any other venue in the city?
A: Firstly, my staff is amazing. There are only about 10 of us, so we run a tight ship with no distractions. We focus on the event that is taking place and nothing else. Because we offer both an indoor and outdoor space, there are more options and both are modern and unique. If you’re looking for a space that isn’t your typical venue that offers a customized experience then we are definitely worth giving a call. After an event, you want to remember it forever and we give our clients that.
