February is the season of love but don’t we all love music? There are dozens of concerts in town every month but we’ve rounded up the hottest ones to check out in February.
Jay Electronica
February 2nd | Danforth Music Hall (Tickets)
Jay Electornica has been around for quite some time and doesn’t get nearly the credit he deserves. He’s been making music since Myspace and his hustle didn’t go completely unnoticed as Jay Z wasted no time signing him to Roc Nation.
Katy Perry
February 5th | Rogers Arena (Tickets)
Katy Perry doesn’t just perform she is the show! No one ever knows what to expect when they go to a Katy concert but she manages to blow her fans away every time. It’s hard to believe she started out as the “I Kissed a Girl,” artist and has evolved over the years cementing her place in the pop industry.
R3hab
February 9th| Uniun Nightclub (Tickets)
Dutch DJ, producer and remixer of all tracks R3hab is coming to Uniun Nightclub. Uniun is synonymous with party and Love This City expects nothing less than a great show and great time.
Dua Lipa
February 16th | Vogue Theater (Tickets)
Singer Dua Lipa smashed the Billboard Charts with her hit “New Rules” and she shows no signs of stopping. She’s currently touring promoting her debut album. This event is sold out as she’s incredible in concert.
Tyler, the Creator
February 17th | Ricoh Colisseum (Tickets)
Unless you live under a rock you know who Tyler, the Creator is. He’s a bit of a creative. It’s better to ask what he doesn’t do rather than what he does because he’s obviously a Jack of All Trades.
These aren’t all of the hottest concerts in town but this a start. As everyone’s New Year’s Resolution ought to be to see more awesome concerts. Just don’t go into hibernation as Spring is right around the corner. What concerts are on your go to list?
