Electric Festival: Electrifying Aruba Another Year

Labor Day Weekend is usually spent barbecuing and sun bathing with friends but being in Aruba on the beach jamming to Afrojack with your best friends sounds way better! This can be your reality if you grab you and your friends tickets to Electric Festival. The Party starts September 3rd and doesn’t end until the 6th.

Heads up though you won’t want it to end. Electric Festival attracted over 10,000 fans last year and it also includes two days of industry meetings, panels and pop up parties. If it can be occupied, better believe there will be a party on it. Expect pool parties, boat parties, and all out beach parties. Previous headliners include Erick Morillo, Lil’Jon, Knife Party and Akon.

The madness doesn’t stop at epic performances but also expect to brush shoulders with greats like Ivan Berry the CEO of C2W Music and Brandon Bakshi the executive director at BMI. They’re confirmed to speak at Electric Festival. Berry is known for discovering Keshia Chante and Shazelle. Baskhi is responsible for some of your favorites like Daft Punk, Deadmau5, Avicii, and Afrojack.

Headliners for Electric Festival 2015 include Nervo, Afrojack, Loco Dice, Party Squad, Chuckie, and Paco Suna.

Afrojack is known for being one of the world’s highest paying DJS and he’s remixed official tracks for the likes of Madonna, Beyoncé and Pitbull. At 27-year-old Afrojack isn’t just a DJ he’s a global icon. He’s set to bless the main stage at APA Arena. His latest track was a team effort with David Guetta’s “Hey Mama.”

The Grammy Award Winning sibling duo known as Nervo is famous for “When Love Takes Over.” These girls aren’t just performers they’re music producers, composers, Wilhelmina Models and DJs. The question is what can’t Nervo do? They’re no stranger to the spotlight. They’ve performed at Tomorrowland, Ultra Festival, and Electric Daisy Carnival just to name a few.

Chuckie is in heavy demand when it comes to remixes. He doesn’t just remix songs he reinvents them. He’s famous for remixing some of the greats. How many DJs today can put a Michael Jackson remix on their resume? He’s worked with artists such as T-Pain, Tinie Tempah, Kesha and 50 Cent to name a few. Chuckie has a following it’s obvious because when he throws a party, thousands of people flock.

When it comes to talent, Loco Dice just didn’t get lucky. He put in a lot of hard work as a rapper and DJ. That hard work paid off and it paid off big. He’s spun for greats from Usher to Ice Cube. He dips his hands in anything that can be created. One interesting project he has under his belt is a nail polish that came with a special music mix. Forgot thinking outside of the box, Loco Dice doesn’t even see it.

Paco Osuna isn’t just a producer he’s an artist and over the last couple of years people have started to see it. The Barcelona techno scene definitely knows Paco’s music. He’s honed his craft and has been doing so since he was fourteen. He’s performed from festival to festival and has quite the accolades under his belt. From 2011 to 2014 Vicious Music awarded him Best Techno DJ and DJ of the Year. Those aren’t just titles those are facts.

With a name like The PartySquad, how could you not want to party with these guys? They’ve held the Dutch Top 40 charts hostage for over a decade with over a dozen hits. These guys aren’t afraid to play with their craft. They make music for them and their fans love it. It’s almost infectious to listen to how they mix their Dutch culture into their music.

This is going to be a party for the ages and let’s face it’s way better than the cookout idea. Electric Festival is definitely the way to say sayonara to summer. Go hard or go home or in this case, go to Electric Festival because no one wants to be home knowing their missing this greatness.
