After dating Afrojack, one of the top DJs in the world, Paris Hilton decided to follow in her ex-beau’s footsteps.
Her debut gig was in Brazil, but with Paris on the vinyl, you don’t only get music, but also a cocktail dressed-up, blinged-out dancing queen.
When you’re famous for being a socialite hotel heiress, you can probably do…well, anything.
Let’s provide some context and take a quick look at Miss Hilton’s “rap sheet” entitled “Famous for being famous.”
2000 – brief stint as a model with T Management (Donald Trump’s agency).
2001 – named the New York’s leading “IT girl.”
2003 – sex tape “leaked.”
2003 – star in the (not so) “Simple Life” (official breakthrough into fame?).
The rest includes an autobiography, more reality shows, voice-overs, movies, a fashion line, perfumes and…
2006 – she caught the music bug and released her debut studio album “Paris.”
This brings us to her latest career move – DJ-ing. Hilton has apparently been dabbling in Electronic Dance Music (EDM) for some time. Her debut DJ gig was in Brazil and received mixed reviews. She’s gone on to DJ all over the world including a residency at one of the biggest clubs in Ibiza.

She famously stated that she is “one of the top five DJs in the world.” Her latest single “Come Alive” is available on iTunes.
“That’s hot” or not? You be the judge.
