October is for scares. There are good scares and then there’s the haunted house scares. From October 17-November 8th expect to feed your inner sweet beast with the Toronto Chocolate Festival. It’s official Toronto has a festival for everything but who’s complaining? “Treat yo self” to chocolate making, chocolate tasting and chocolate eating contests because “why not?”
Some of the highlights are the Chocolate 911 Relay. The dates hasn’t dropped yet but Emergency workers like firefighters, paramedics and police officers will battle the clock to win the Chocolate Bowl by eating as much chocolate as possible. This sounds like good old fashioned silly fun.
From October 17th to November 8th places around Toronto will offer specials on chocolate treats. November 2nd there will be a Luxury Chocolate Show at Roy Thomson Hall. We were sold at Luxury and Chocolate. No more convincing is needed.
The Annual Chocolate Ball is happening October 22nd and it will be full of entertainment and dancing and a chocolate themed silent auction.
When in doubt just go with chocolate! Chocolate is heaven and technically it comes from cocoa and cocoa comes from the Earth so it’s a vegetable (not really) but who’s asking? Enjoy yourself! Get chocolate wasted! Check out all things Chocolate Festival here! You’re welcome.
