More can be achieved together than alone. Kenny Glasgow and Johnny White were both influential DJs in Toronto’s electronic music scene but produced music with different sounds. When Damian Lazarus asked the two friends to remix ‘Don’t Sleep’ by Riz MC, they realized how unique their music was when combined. Together, Glasgow and White formed Art Department in 2009. Although still relatively new in the music scene, the duo has a huge fan-base because of their unique sound. If you’ve listened to anything by Art Department before, then you’ve definitely heard Kenny Glasgow’s unique vocals featured on the tracks.
The Canadian duo will be making an appearance on the second day of Digital Dreams (Sunday, June 29) at No. 19 Social Experiment.
