If your song of the summer isn’t Summer then we might have a problem. The catchy, upbeat tune has been playing nonstop on the radio since it was released in March and has sold over a million copies in the USA alone.
Of course this shouldn’t come as a surprise. Scottish sweetheart Calvin Harris currently holds the record for the most top ten hits from one studio album in the UK. Sweet Nothing, We Found Love, We’ll Be Coming Back, and I Need Your Love are just a few of his chart-topping singles. Last year, Forbes indicated that he was the highest paid DJ to date! Harris even has his own record label, Fly Eye Records, which was founded in 2009. His list of accomplishments goes on and on. He’s performed all over the world at all the major festivals. The MGM Grand Las Vegas is where Harris usually plays, but lucky for us Canadians, he will be returning to Toronto this August as a headliner for VELD Music Festival in Downsview Park.
Look out for his upcoming single, Blame, which will be released August 25.
