Bud Light Dreams Festival is right around the corner! The epic two day event takes place on Friday July 7th and Saturday July 8th at RBC Echo Beach in downtown Toronto. This year the festival is different from any other year, and some exciting changes have been made. The festival is 19+ which already sets the tone for a more mature vibe and crowd than ever before. Live Nation Canada and INK Entertainment say that Dreams will be a “boutique and luxury festival experience.” The festival still has three stages, lots of other entertainment, and a wide variety of delicious food provided at the event this year.
We are SO excited about this year’s lineup for the festival! Some of the amazing DJ’s who will be taking the stage include:
ABOVE & BEYOND
Above & Beyond is an English progressive trance group consisting of three members, Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamki. They came together in the year 2000 and have been rocking the Electronic Music Dance scene ever since. They are the owners of the London based music labels- Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep. Some of their biggest hits include “We’re all we need,” “Sun & Moon,” and their track sung by Alex Vargas “Sticky Fingers.”
DVVBS
DVVBS are an electronic dance music duo from Canada consisting of Chris and Alex (who just so happen to be brothers). These boys are very close to home and grew up in Orangeville, Ontario. They really stepped into the scene in the last few years with their huge hits “Tsunami,” and “Pyramids.” The duo has played MainStage at some of the biggest festivals in the world like Tomorrowland, Ultra, and many more.
STEVE ANGELLO
Steve Angello is a Greek-Sweedish DJ, producer, and label owner who was also a former member of the DJ trio Swedish House Mafia. Angello is 34 now but started DJ-ing at 12 years old, he began in the turn table and hip hop genre and then made his way into electronic dance music. As a member of Swedish House Mafia alongside Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso they produced many successful hits such as “Greyhound”, “Antidote”, “Save the World”, “Don’t You Worry Child,” and many more.
