Producer/DJ duo Blond:ish started out as just two girls spinning records at Cherry every week. After a while, their fans started referring to them as Blond:ish and it stuck. Anstascia and Vivie-Ann (Blond:ish) moved to London shortly after to broaden their horizons on the music scene. In 2012, the two released their “Lonely Days” EP earning them praises for their sensual, sultry yet energetic sound. They’re so passionate about their sound that they constantly refer to their music as their love child. You can see the two blondes in action on May 8th at Coda. $25 will get you in, but arrive early as these girls have a following.
Canadian DJ Nitin will be opening for these ladies… He’s known for being a jack of all trades. He’s not only a DJ but he’s promoted parties from Detroit to Europe. He started his No 19 record label to promote not only his music but aspiring electronic artists. The passion oozes from his music that can be described in three words skilled, polished and electrifying.
Coda is known heavily for its state of the art sound system. The nightclub has quite the following. Digging through the reviews fans of the place claim that it’s energetic and a favorite amongst electronic music lovers. Rumor has it the quality of music is amazing no matter where you’re standing.
