A refreshing and delightful new EP has just been released on Apollonia Music and Swiss alchemist Alci is behind the 3 track collection named quite suiting “The Travelling Soul”.
Apollonia Music was the perfect label match for quickly the rising producer to release this soulful treat with the perfect mixture of his minimalistic yet powerful approach to house music. Keeping us on a steady pace throughout the EP, Alci keeps us locked with continuos catchy rhythms, an interesting placement of simplistic vocals, the incorporation of strange and organic sounds that work just perfectly, and finishing of the EP with one seriously pulsating baseline that we just can’t get enough of. A captivating combination of elements that results in solid EP, and a huge anticipation of what is yet to come. (…word is Alci collaborated with Robert Dietz on a EP being released on Diet’s label Truth Be Told very soon!)
The EP is available via 12 “ vinyl keeping it reminiscent of Alci’s collaboration of both classic and modern formats of both production and equipment alike. Something very refreshing to see in a new world of music where everyone seems to be knowledgeable and open to only digital formats.
