We know it’s still cold outside but pretty soon spring will be here. We can’t help but to think about Spring and along with spring weather comes spring fashions. In the spirit of Drake and his constant need to call Toronto The Six, we came up with six trends we can’t wait to check out this spring.
1. Cold Shoulder Tops/Dresses
Give everyone the cold shoulder by showing just enough skin in a cold (another word for off the shoulder) top or dress. It’s like a preview to all the tank tops you’ll be wearing this summer. 2. Suede
That 70s Suede velvet look isn’t going anywhere any time soon. It’s all over the runway and expect to see it in stores. Rather it’s a suede vest or a velvet dress, soft fabrics are here to stay. 3. Light Denim
Denim is always in. Rather it’s a light material skirt, dress, or shirt, denim is always a go unless it’s a patchwork ensemble, please don’t do that. (Chambray Top; Forever 21 $29.90)
4. Gladiator Sandals
If you have your gladiator sandals from last year, or any sandals that lace up your legs, you’re already set. The gladiator sandal trend isn’t going anywhere. We’re just glad we can look good and comfy in our flats. (Bohoo Gladiator Sandals; $45)
5. Over-Sized Plaid
Small plaid print is good but judging by the runways the bigger the print, the better. Rather you rock it with your favorite pair of jeans, a pair of cutoffs or even if you want to be daring like La La Anthony and rock no pants, go for it. (Plaid Top)
6. Pleated Anything
Pleated fabric just screams spring. The accordion style are safe this spring without being considered out of style.
