6 May Concerts to Check Out in Toronto

Where has the time gone? Summer is around the corner and with hot weather comes hot concerts in the Toronto area and we can’t wait! Beyond festivals (see our festival roundup here) there are some pretty awesome concerts coming to town this May. We rounded up six of the hottest to check out.

Jessie Ware

May 3rd @ The Danforth Music Hall | Tickets

Jessie Ware needs no gimmicks. Her vocal range freezes time while you’re watching her perform as audiences stare in awe with every note. Jessie has hits under belts like “Wildest Moments” and “Tough Love” and is no stranger to the top of the charts.

Haim

May 7th @ Massey Hall | Tickets

6 May Concerts to Check Out in TorontoThe Haim Sisters draw crowds and they’ve been around for quite some time. It’s their catch music and watching their talent as they effortlessly play numerous instruments. They’ve been on the top ten charts in several countries, performed at the Glanstonbury Festival, and even received a Grammy Nomination. This group of sisters shows zero signs of slowing down.

The iHeart Radio Fanfest

May 11 @ Rebel | Tickets

6 May Concerts to Check Out in Toronto
Anything attached to iHeart Radio is usually one hell of a party and this Radio fanfest is nothing shy of an epic lineup. DVBBS, French Montana, Belly, and Ria Mae are just a few of the acts rocking the stage at Rebel. This sounds like the right concert to start the summer off.

2 Chainz

May 13th @ Rebel | Tickets

Rebel always seems to bring the hottest performances! 2 Chainz is set to rock the stage and he’s always so full of energy when he performs that it’s nothing less than incredible. You’re bound to run into a millennial that knows at least one 2 Chainz song because this rapper is unavoidable.

Madison Beer

May 13th @ Velvet Underground | Tickets

Madison has a commanding stage presence and voice that will make you feel every note. Her lyrics are similar to a young woman reading her journal as she leaves everything on the stage. Her hits “Dead” and “Say it to My Face” are sure to have crowds singing along. 17 year old Beer rose to fame after Justin Bieber tweeted a link to her singing and the rest was well history.

Post Malone

May 27th @ RBC Echo Beach | Tickets

Post Malone is also one of those rappers that are unavoidable and rather you love him or hate him you’ve probably sang along to one of his songs. “Rockstar” is still all over the radio and no matter if it’s the first time hearing it or the one hundredth time hearing it by the end of the song you’re mad at yourself for still singing along.

What concert is on your radar? Did we miss your favorite?
