April showers bring May flowers and lots of cool concerts to Toronto. Hopefully the snow is a distant memory and we’re all in music festival mode. Here are some of the coolest concerts coming to town in April.
Andy Grammer
April 2nd | The Phoenix Concert Theatre [Tickets]
Andy Grammer dropped his debut album in 2011 and has been on the radio ever since. His second single “Honey, I’m Good,” went platinum several times and pretty much cemented his spot on the radio.
Majid Jordan
April 5th | Rebel Toronto [Tickets]
OVO Sound duo Majid Jordan dropped their debut EP in 2014 and they’re still at it. The Canadian duo has such a sultry sound only one would relate to the OVO family.
Keyshia Cole
April 6 | Rebel Toronto [Tickets]
Keyshia Cole is always reinventing her sound without losing herself. She always finds a way to make her lyrics relatable.
ASAP Ferg
April 9th | Rebel Toronto [Tickets]
ASAP Ferg is known for being a part of A$AP Mob and his debut album earned him a BET Award for Rookie of the Year.
5 Seconds of Summer
April 13 | The Danforth Music Hall [Tickets]
5 Seconds of Summer shows no signs of cooling off since their international debut on the scene in 2011. Their tour with One Direction garnered them fans and ever since they’ve been on the radio summer after summer.
Camila Cabello
April 27th | Sony Centre for the Performing Arts [Tickets]
Camila Cabello shocked almost everyone when she dropped out Fifth Harmony to forget her solo career. She dropped her debut album Camila this year and it went number one on the Billboard 200 proving she was more than capable of doing the solo thing.
