5 February Charity Events to Check Out

Having a good time for a cause never gets old. It makes you feel good too. February is the month of love and why not spread love while attending some of the many charity events in Toronto. We here at Love This City TV rounded up some charitable events that you may want to buy tickets to guilt free.

The Starlight Gala | February 3 – Montecassino Hotel & Event Centre [Tickets]

Join Project HEAL for its first annual Starlight Gala to raise funds for Project HEAL’s treatment grant program. Project HEAL helps people who can’t afford treatment for their eating disorders. The Starlight Gala features a silent auction, dancing, dinner and guest speakers.

Strike Out Cancer | February 10 – Universal Event Space [Tickets]

Cancer changes lives for everyone and though science hasn’t found a way to stop cancer you can support organizations in their battle to slow it down. Strike Out Cancer aims to get people who were effected by cancer in one way or another together to inform them that they aren’t alone.

The Jitterbug Social | February 11 -Trinity St. Paul Center [Tickets]

Join this all ages annual affair and enjoy dancing and snacks all in the name of raising money for Dancing with Parkinson’s which is a grassroots charity that offers dance and movements classes for adults living with Parkinson’s in the Toronto Area.

Wine, Cheese & Music | February 16 – The Spice Factory [Tickets]

Enjoy a mellow night out with wine, cheese and good music. Participate in a silent auction and by awesome things from local vendors. Tickets include hors d’oeuvres and a beverage. Proceeds benefit the Mwikase which provides scholarships to boys and girls in the Mauko Village in Kenya.

PepsiCo “Rock The Foundation” | February 23 – The Opera House [Tickets]

Join PepsiCo and many musical acts hit the stage all in the name of supporting the arts. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

As usual this isn’t an entire list of all the cool fundraisers and charitable events in February.  This is just to get your wheels spinning. Don’t forget to do all you can with what you have in 2017.
