Yorkville has character and this month they’ll also have a new restaurant with a super cool theme. Chase Hospitality Group is set to open Planta which is an entirely plant-based menu. Culinary greats Chef David Lee, Chef Michael Steh and Chef Tyler Shedden are the chefs behind such a delicious place.
It’s said to have a playful menu, chill atmosphere and it’s going to be a standout on the Toronto scene. One of our favorite things about the restaurant is the wine list will be 100% biodynamic and organic and the drink menu will feature fresh-press juice cocktails. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are sure to be packed at this place so you may have to enjoy their take-out options but with power chefs behind it, it’ll be worth the wait. Planta will have seating for 165 people and have an open concept layout decorated with touches of bronze, wood and will play off the Bay Street lighting. Planta isn’t open yet but we’ll most definitely give you the heads up for the official opening.
