Armin van Buuren
The Dutch Trance music producer was born in Leiden, Netherlands on December 25, 1976 but grew up in Koudekerk aan den Rijn. His breakthrough track was called “Blue Fear” which was released under the Cyber Records label in 1995. In 2003 he released his debut album 76, a 76-minute album divided into 13 tracks. On August 8, 2005 he released his second studio album, “Shivers”. Presently Van Buuren had already won 42 awards with 71 nominations. Some of the awards he won a Best Trance DJ from 2010 to 2012 and Best International DJ from 2011 to 2012.

Tiesto
Born Tijs Michiel Verwest (January 17, 1969), Tiesto career boomed in 2000 after the release of his first solo album In My Memory. It had 10 singles. He released his second album, “Just Be”, in 2004. On the Summer Olympic Games in 2004 Tiesto became the first DJ to play live on stage for the Olympic Games. He released two albums after that. His latest release is the album “Club Life”. It is his current compilation which started in 2011. Tiesto was nominated for Grammy Awards in 2008 as Best Electronic/Dance Album for his compilation Elements of Life. He was awarded Best International DJ in 2008 at the DJ Awards.

Avicii
Born Tim Bergling, Avicci is a Swedish DJ remixer that released his debut album “Avicii Presents Strictly Miami” which was released in 2011.
This was followed in the same year with another album “The Singles”.

David Guetta
Pierre David Guetta, popularly known as David Guetta, was born on November 7, 1967 in Paris, France. David Guetta started his career in the 90s as he played on clubs including Le Boy and the Rex. In 2002, Guetta produced his first hit album “Just a Little More Love”. This was the start of his international career. It was followed by the release of 3 compilations. His current compilation is “Nothing but the Beat” that started last 2011. It featured chart toppinghits like “Titanium” featuring sea, “Without You” featuring Usher and “Where Them Girls At” featuring Flo Rida and Nicki Minaj. David Guetta won the American Music Awards’ Favorite Electronic Dance Music last 2012.

Deadmau5
Deadmau5 (born Joel Thomas Zimmerman on January 5, 1981) is a Canadian DJ with Progressive house and electro house as his style. His stage name was derived from “dead mouse guy”, a name he has become known for his early days. His debut album, Get Scrapped, was released last July 26, 2005. It was followed by the release of 4 studio albums and his latest 2012 release is titled “Album Title Goes Here”. Deadmau5 won the award “Dance Recording of the Year” last 2010 for the Juno Awards.

Hardwell
Robbert van de Corput (a.k.a Hardwell) was born on January 7, 1988.
His first single was released on 2004 which was titled “Never Knew Love” and this one peaked the chart at number 2 at the Dutch Top 40.

Dash Berlin
A Dutch trance group headed by DJ Jeffret Sutorius (where the name of the group was followed) better known as Dash Berlin.
The group was formed in 2007 with two other members Eelke Kalberg and Sebastian Molijn. Their first album debuted at 2009 with the title “The New Daylight”.
Four albums followed after that. The latest is #musicislife (Extended Club Mixes) which was released in 2012.

Above & Beyond
The trio was formed in 2000. Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness and PaavoSiljamaki met at the University of Westminister.
They formed the group after sharing a common mutual interest in electronic music. Their debut album entitled “Tri-State” was released in 2005.
One of the singles won the Best Underground Dance Track in 2006. It was followed by two compilations.

Afrojack
Nick van de Wall, popularly known as Afrojack, was born in September 9, 1987 in Spijkenisse, Netherlands. The Dutch DJs first studio album was released on 2010 entitled “Lost and Found”. This was followed by a part 2 of 2011. His latest studio album was released in 2013 with the title “It’s A Matter Of…” Afrojack is part of up beating “Run the World” by Beyoncé and was also featured in 2011 when he did Pitbull’s number 1 hit single “Give Me Everything”.

Skrillex
An American musician, Sonny John Moore was born on January 15, 1988. His musical career started when he entered the band “From First to Last” as the lead singer in 2004 and recorded two studio albums with the band. He pursued a solo career in 2007. In 2009 he released his debut album as a solo artist, “Gypsyhook EP”. Skrillex won several Grammy Awards including 3 awards in 2012 for Best Dance Recording, Best Dance/Electronica Album and Best Remixed Recording, nonclassical. He also won the Best Dance Recording and Best Remixed Recording on the 2013 Grammy Awards.

Swedish House Mafia

he group was formed in 2008 with current members Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso. Axwell only became a member when they contacted him to be part of the group. Their first studio release was titled “Get Dumbed which debuted in 2007. Their latest chart topper, “Don’t You Worry Child”, was released on September 14, 2012. They were nominated twice as Best Dance Recoding for the Grammy Awards in 2012 and 2013.

Born on July 18, 1980, the English DJ started his career at the age of 26 where he ran a studio and a nightclubin Manchester, England. In 2002 he had his breakthrough album “Nervous Breakdown”. His first album of the same year was titled “Mistral” and he used the alias GTR on that. A lot of albums were released in the succeeding years. Some of his latest music for 2013 are “Lights and Thunder”, “Layers” and “Meet Her in Miami”. In 2006 he was nominated three times for Best Podcast at the International Dance Music Awards.

(Born Matthias Paul on December 16, 1971) His first appearance as a DJ was in the Treasury in March 1991. In 1995 he recorded and released his first studio album which was titled 45 RPM. Four albums followed after that with singles that topped Billboard Top Electronic Albums (number 2) and on the Top Heatseekers (number 1) on year 2007. Paul won many awards including Best Trance Track by Trance Awards in 2009. He was also nominated for a Grammy Award on 2003 for his album “Reflections”.

Sander van Doorn
Born on February 28, 1979, Sander Ketelaars. His breakthrough started when he became one of the resident DJs at Judgement Sunday in Ibiza.

Born on December 18, 1977, Axel Christofer Hedfors had and early interest inthe instruments. As early as nine he learned how to play the drums and was creating music through a computer when he was 13 years old. His first single was released in 1999 with the title “Funkboy”. It was only in 2005 when he was hitting the charts with his album “Feel the Vibe” which became an instant hit. He was also part of the group Swedish House Mafia during 2009 and released an album with the group. He was consecutively nominated for Grammy Awards from 2011 to 2013 for Remixed Recording and Best Dance Recording.
