Six Food Trucks to Check Out in Toronto

Food truck season is in full force and we’re excited because there are so many awesome food trucks in Toronto. If you name it, there’s probably a truck for it. If you can’t name it, there’s also probably a truck for it. The sky is the limit when it comes to different cuisines you can try without making reservations.

Burgatory

All the burgers here at Burgatory are named after the Seven Deadly Sins, and it should be a sin for these burgers to be this good. They even have hand cut fries to make you feel like you’re in heaven. Honestly we were sold at burgers because who doesn’t love a good burger?

This isn’t your usual ice cream truck here. Someone sat back and realized their love for donuts and ice cream and didn’t want to choose. We can only imagine that this is how Donut Cone was created. Either way, we’re okay with it. These donut cone ice cream delicacies look amazing so no complaints here.

Fish n’ chips, shrimp po boy, lobster rolls… Buster’s Sea Cove is pretty much a seafood restaurant on wheels. They even have octopus. If it swims it’s most likely sitting on this truck that’s said to be packed with so much flavor.

Waffles are more than a breakfast food and this Belgium Waffle Truck is more than just a waffle truck. Think of Wafel Bar as a gourmet waffle truck. Choose everything from the toppings (Nutella, Belgium Chocolate Sauce), to waffle sticks.

It’s definitely a clever name, we’ll give them that! This food truck experience involves unique unreal sandwiches with a flavorful twist.

The Egg Man

There’s a taco truck, a poutine truck, a waffle truck, and even a breakfast truck. The Egg Man is kind of in their own lane as there aren’t that many breakfast trucks like this. Devour breakfast tacos, breakfast poutine, and breakfast sandwiches here. This would totally get me out of the bed in the morning.

Heirloom

Cheesecake on a stick! We didn’t really have to look further than that to fall in love with this truck. They’re notorious for the delectable known as cheesecake on a stick but they also have sandwiches and taco salads.

We’ve only rounded up six but if you feel inclined to go on some kind of food truck hunt, we won’t stop you! Food trucks are life and we’re hoping that they’re not just a trend as some trucks are actually better than brick and mortar spots.
