Even though this summer saw box-office hits like “Wonder Woman”, “Baby Driver”, and “Spiderman: Homecoming”, the overall summer movie release season was disappointing due to the sheer number of box-office flops Hollywood produced:

These box office duds affected ticket sales of Cineplex Entertainment, as it recently announced weaker than expected profits, mainly due to less occupancy at theaters. Cineplex is trying to counter this issue by announcing 30% off on all tickets sold during 25th August to 31st August. If you are SCENE member, you get an additional 10% off. The deal is applicable for all movie and includes the regular, 3D, Ultra AVX 3D, and IMAX. However, it does not include the VIP theater; where patrons are provided a luxury movie-viewing experience. Cineplex is offering this promotion as a part of its “1 week of Tuesday” in hopes to increase ticket sales for movies like “Logan Lucky”, and “Annabelle: Creation”.
Now instead of trying to sneak outside food into the theater, you can actually buy the overpriced confectionery using the money you saved in buying tickets.
