The best thing about summer is the hot weather and the pools opening. What better way to enjoy summer than sitting poolside with friends and making new memories? Toronto has a few gems when it comes to pool options and we rounded up some of our favs.
Cabana Pool Bar
Cabana Pool Bar is the best of both worlds. Not only can you take a dip and enjoy the beautiful Toronto skyline but you can also enjoy doing so with a drink in hand. And if that wasn’t enticing enough Cabana Pool Bar is constantly hosting some of the hottest parties in Toronto with hotter acts.
Splash Works @ Canada Wonderland
Sometimes riding a few roller-coasters just isn’t enough to keep cool in the summer. That’s where Splash Works comes in. Enjoy wonderful water slides, cabanas and even a lazy river for when you just want to lay in the water and do nothing (we’ve been there). The great news is that when you buy a ticket to Canada’s Wonderland, Splash Works is already included.
High Park Pool
1873 Bloor Street
This Toronto family friendly public pool is a gem. Splash around all day and let your worries be at ease. Even take a ride on the notorious yellow water slide.
Donald D. Summerville Pool
1867 Lake Shore Blvd E
This Woodbine Beach side pool is technically this is three pools. Yes, there’s no gimmicks here but it’s so relaxing and there’s something for everyone including sunbathing. It’s one of the few pools with a diving pool, a kiddy pool, and an Olympic pool.
Alex Duff Christie Pits Memorial Pool
750 Bloor St. W.

This fantastic public pool sits right next to Christie Pits Park and is 25 meters deep, a diving board and even a waterslide. If you’re no swimmer you can chill in the shallow end or just enjoy reading a book on the deck. Did we mention that it’s free because honestly we were sold at waterslide?
Of course, these aren’t all the pools in Toronto but it’s a great start for someone looking to hit up all of them! What’s your favorite pool in Toronto? Let us know in the comments below.
