     1. Pride Week: June 24th –  July 3rd | Church St & Bloor St (Parade)

Head down to one of the craziest week’s in Toronto, and have a blast with members, and supporters of the LGBTQ community! Check out the Pride Parade – one of the biggest events in Toronto every-year, and keep an eye out for the variety of floats that’ll be attending this year.

   2. Toronto Fringe Festival: June 29th – July 10th  | Different theatres in Toronto 

This event focuses on showcasing indie theatre performances, allowing for unrecognized actors to present their talent. Grab your tickets for the event here (they’re super cheap), and keep updated by following the #fringe2016 hashtag on Twitter.

     3. Caribana: July 5th – 31st | Exhibition Place & Lakeshore Blvd (Parade) 

The event that lights up Toronto every summer is making it’s return for it’s 48th year in a row! Caribana celebrates Caribbean culture by hosting parties and events for almost an entire month. Don’t miss out on everyones favourite, the Caribana Parade, that closes the festival off.

   4. Summerlicious: July 8th – 24th (Different restaurants in Toronto)

For all foodie’s at heart, Summerlicious focuses on the culinary talent in the 6ix, by showcasing over 220 restaurants with a prix fixe menu. Lunch starts at $18 per person, following with dinner starting at $28!

 5. Beerfest: July 22nd – 24th | Bandshell Park, Exhibition Place 

The name says it all; come out to Toronto’s Beer Festival! With over 300 beer brands, they have a type of drink for everyone! Like to munch while sipping on beer? Fear not, because this event offers a fantastic variety of food, from grilled cheese to oysters!

6. Canadian National Exhibition (CNE): August 19th – September 5th

Taking over the Exhibition Place every year, this event is meant for everyone and their sister! Offering everything from midway rides, to acrobatic shows – bring the whole family out for a day of fun.

Pro Tip: The CNE is known for its delicious food concoctions every year, make sure you pay attention to what will be offered this year! Last year featured some unusual dishes, like deep fried cheesecake, and timbit poutine.
