Season four of Toronto’s favorite concert/picnic series is a go. Electric Island has confirmed their 2016 dates and early bird passes are already on sale. This year the party is lasting longer with a fifth date now added to the lineup. If you’re having a hard time choosing what date to check out, just buy a season pass and go to all of them. You’ll save some money and you’ll have some crazy stories to tell your friends.
If you’re living under a rock and never heard of Electric Island, the concert series is where music lovers gather to jam to the city’s underground music while admiring the crazy beautiful skyline. This year’s madness goes down on Monday, May 23rd, Friday, July 1st, Monday, August 1st, and there’s even a two day concert series on September 4th and 5th.
2016 season passes are $149 and if you want your pass to include a ferry to the island, you’ll have to cough up $179. VIP passes with a ferry ride are $199. Previous years’ lineups have included acts like Loco Dice, Adam Beyer, Sven Vath and Sasha. Hanlan’s Point is electrified with great music, food and crowds.
