It’s hard to believe that we’re at the end of 2015. This month is one last month to have an epic concert experience of the year. There are dozens of great artists coming to town in December to give you that experience. Here are six can’t miss December concerts.
Vince Staples | December 4th | Tattoo (Tickets Unavailable)
All the tickets are gone for the Vince Staples concert but cross your fingers and hope you have a friend or know someone that knows someone to get in. Vince is one third of Cutthroat Boyz. He’s also pals with Odd Future. Last year his debut EP “Hell Can Wait” included two singles that created the buzz for him to drop “Summertime ’06” this year to great reception. There’s no question why this guy made XXL Magazine’s 2015 Freshman Class.
Jackie Evancho | December 5th | Queen Elizabeth Theatre (Tickets)
Fifteen year old Jackie Evancho may be small but she has quite the big voice. She’s known for her wide vocal range and going gold and platinum as a classical singer. Her album “Awakening” dropped last year and gave her her fifth consecutive number one release on the Billboard Charts.
Dirty South | December 11 | Uniun Nightclub (Tickets)
Dirty South is bringing his “Find a Way Tour” to Uniun Nightclub. The Serbian Native has a huge following and has been touring since September 15th. When he’s not busy headlining tours he’s headlining festivals. This show is going to be packed and you’re going to want to see him perform while he’s here.
Jojo | December 15th | Virgin Mobile Mod Club (Tickets)
After years of record label turmoil Jojo is back! She’s touring for the first time in a very long time and every time feels like an intimate experience. She’s back with a new record label and performing new music.
Zeds Dead| December 19th | Danforth Music Hall (Tickets)
Electronic duo Zeds Dead is bringing their show to Danforth Music Hall. They’re known for crossing genres and keeping the party going. When these guys perform they perform their live music as if every venue is a festival.
Mac Miller| December 20th| Sound Academy (Tickets)
Pittsburgh native Mac Miller may have several alter egos but they all make good music. Last year Mack Miller left Rostrum Records and started his own label and now he’s pushing his new music. Miller cemented his spot in the hip-hop game since 2007 and it doesn’t seem like he’s going anywhere any time soon.
These are just six awesome concerts in the city. We’re sure there will be more to look forward to. What is one concert that you can’t wait to check out in December?
