Scotiabank Nuit Blanche 2015 at Drake

Saturday, October 3rd Drake Hotel Properties is collaborating with the City of Toronto to celebrate the tenth year of Scotiabank Nuit Blanche. There will be all types of interesting programs hosted at the many Drake Properties including the Drake Hotel, Drake General Store and the Drake One Fifty. Events will include art installations, live music, cocktails, artist talks and 4 a.m. last calls. Here are of the awesome events to check out.

The Deadly Nightshades “Just Married”

This interesting installation takes place inside the Drake One Fifty parkette and The Deadly Nightshades all girl-bike gang will marry to your bicycle while dressed up as famous celebrities like Elvis, The Little Mermaid and Dolly Parton. Because why not?

Light Cave by FriendsWithYou

Drake One Fifty and the City of Toronto produced this outer worldly artistic experience known as Light Cave. This sculpture is definitely on everyone’s must visit. It’s a semi-translucent inflatable structure and it’s free!

Dirty Frigs & I.M. Brown Performance

Take a trip and watch Dirty Frigs and I.M. Brown perform. They welcome guest with grunge and trippy out of this world music experiences. Both bands bring something different and it’ll be a good time at The Underground at 8:30pm

Come experience artist Emilie Gervais’ piece of art. She found a way to transform The Drake Hotel almost making you forget where you are. The video-mapped piece is one of a kind and why not show up when last call is 4am?  You have no excuses!

Speaking of late, The Drake general store will be open later. It’s staying open until 10PM. It’s a gif shop, flea market museum shop. You’re sure to leave with something worth showing someone.
