September 11-13th expect rediscover Kingsway. Between Bloor Street West and Prince Edward Drive and Montgomery Road expect lots of international food and fall entertainment. The thing that makes all this better is the fact that there will be live entertainment from well known artists, performers and musicians. Lots of vendors will be there this year even a Beer and Wine Garden. Who can say no to that?And the best thing is the street fair is free which makes this the perfect place to people watch.
If beer and wine isn’t your thing, take a spin on one of of the many midway rides. There’s even a dog show if that’s totally your thing. There will be balloon twisters, break dancers, stilt walkers, an Avenger character, a clown and even Jazz. There’s food demos, a rock climbing wall, buskers and face painters. Expect Taekwondo and Fitness demos and many things from the community. If you find boredom at this event, you went looking for it. This sounds like fun for the entire family. It’s definitely worth a look. We were sold at international food.
All the fun starts September 11th with 6the opening ceremonies at 7:45pm. Saturday is full of cover bands and Thriller Canada and even a fish and chips eating contest. And it ends at 6pm on Sunday with a Community Soul Project.
Last year was a huge success and there’s no doubt about this year’s crowd being very nice. The Taekwondo was a hit last year with the kids. There’s no telling what you’re going to run into at this street festival.
