In ten days you’ll laugh so much that you voice will be hoarse and your eyes will be dry from crying so much. From September 24-October 3rd expect nothing but comedy, music and dance. All you need is one pass to give you access to all forty two events. The unique thing about this festival is the schedule is put together by the audience. Using their smart phones users select what they’re interested in seeing and based on interest events change and dates are added.

This year’s headliners are Craig Ferguson, Patton Oswalt, Trevor Noah, Bill Burr, Hannibal Burress, Miranda Sings, John Mulaney, and Chris Hardwick. Hardwick is known for voicing Craig in the Nickelodeon show Sanjay and Craig. When he’s not voicing cartoons this guy is hosting everything he can get his hands on and it’s not a bad decision to have him host. This guy knows what he’s doing.

If you’ve watched an episode of Saturday Night Live than you’ve witnessed Mulaney’s work. He’s a writer of the comedy show. Him and Bill Hader are to thank for the SNL character Stefon. He has also worked on numerous stand up shows. He’s performed on Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, Connan and Comedy Central Presents. He also had a special New In Town that was released in 2012. If Comedy Central gives this guy the stamp of approval, how could we not?

Just about every millennial has heard of Miranda Sings. The internet character was created in 2008 by Youtuber Colleen Evans. She’s known for singing and dancing badly yet somehow giving famous people tutorials. She’s done stand-up on stages from New York to London.

Hannibal Burress loves to write epic comedy and although brief he’s written for Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock. He’s mostly known for his stand up and has blessed stages all over the globe.

Trevor Noah is making all types of waves in comedy. It’s either you like this guy or you don’t, there’s no in between.  The South African comedian is the successor of Jon Stewart on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show. That should be enough to convince you to get a pass immediately to see him.

Each pass comes with four credits. You can choose a ticket to see a headliner show or you can solely choose to see some of the forty two amazing acts. If you think this pass thing is confusing than just buy individual tickets which is kind of old school but to each it’s own. Either way you’re going to enjoy the show there is no doubt about it. Just the headliners alone are enough to convince you but in case it isn’t the 42 is very impressive with everyone from Youtube’s Jake and Amir to Grace Helbig, everyone that is anyone in comedy will be there and if you go and don’t laugh, we’re judging your sense of humor. If you could have 42 things why not make it comics? That just makes life way more hilarious. It’ll be maddening not to go with your friends. You don’t want to talk about it and say “You had to be there.” No one likes being that guy. Here is a link to snatch up your pass and use your credits wisely. This might be the hardest decision you make all year. (tickets)
