Kanye Dropped the Mic…

I can only imagine what he was thinking while he manned the stage that’s probably the same square footage as his own home; he was probably thinking, “i’mma come on the stage and I’mma kill it, cuz I’m Kanyeezy and haters gonna hate.”

Or he could have probably been thinking, “F%$# Toronto, I’m rich B&*$@!”

Either way, whatever he was thinking doesn’t really matter because Kanye West just doesn’t match up to the level of Canadian class that the majority of our celebrities hold.  I mean think about it, most of our Class Acts are just that; Class Acts.  Our celebs carry morale, values, and respect for their country through a decency that is derived from knowing that they are representing our country to the whole world as they go out and about and live that life of a superstar.

Considering the Pan Am Games were a delight for our Great City, to show up with no musicians, no dancers, and no intent on winning over at least the portion of the crowd that didn’t sign the petition towards not having him perform, it says a lot about how much of a f$%# he gives about us.

Pitbull smashed his set, along with Serena Ryder and all of the spectacular participants of the closing ceremonies.

Kanye just didn’t care enough.  We get it, it’s upsetting to be petitioned against, but still.  Love always wins bro! Give it a try!

The good thing is that we as Canadians could care less about how he feels about us.  Chauvinistic ego’s and inconsiderate assholes only grab a second of our attention and then we carry on joyfully as we stand on guard for thee (thee being our wonderful country).

Kanye simply couldn’t make the cut, so he did his thing and threw the mic in the air only to let it drop on the stage as he stormed off the stage with his chest out and head up high.

That’s all that could be said about this character and his legendary performance at the Pan Am Closing Ceremony.

Long Live Our Great City!
