Food trucks have become quite the rage and even though the rules have recently become stricter for food truck vendors out there, they are still growing in plentiful amounts. Here are some of the locations that you definitely need to be checking out for awesome food trucks and even more awesome food.

 

Roundhouse Park

Over here you will find Hogtown Smoke, The 18 foot truck serves up delicious and tender beef brisket and even smoked beans. The brisket po’boy is quite the seller in this category.

Also on the same street features Blue Donkey that serves gyros, poutiness and salads that you can order to simply taste.

 

 

 

 

10 Bay St.

Quite the street for food trucks. Here you can order gourmet home style food, including duck and pork schnitzel from Curbalicious. Then there is Randy’s Roti that caters to Caribbean taste of homemade food, and also serves to those in search for halal or vegetarian options. You can order chicken, goat, chickpeas and even rice served with oxtail stew. Then there is Frankie Fettuccine that was awarded ‘the best new food truck’ in 2013 by Awestruck. They bring you freshly cooked Italian food. Also, you cannot forget Dobro Jesti where the owner couple cook up their family recipes.

At Yonge Street you will find Urban Smoke which is popular for serving southern style barbecues. They serve prime cut meats with their signature sauces and are definitely worth trying. On the same street you can also find Buster’s Sea Cove, which is Toronto’s first all seafood truck. Here, along with fish tacos, you can try the seafood rolls and lightly fried shrimps too. You are never too old for perfectly grilled cheese sandwiches and that is what makes Gorilla Cheese such a crowd puller. They serve different varieties of grilled cheese sandwiches that are drenched with generous helpings of maple syrup.

4In 110 West Toronto Street, you will find Fat Louie’s BBQ food truck that specializes in slow cooking and fast serving of your favourite kind of meats.
