What is ‘Taste of Danforth’?

Taste of Danforth is pretty much what the name states- it’s a taste of the Danforth area in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. With quite a rich history, this festival takes place annually, every August, for a total of three days. The focus is on Greek culture and delicious Greek food, while in recent years, Indian, Thai, and Cuban food vendors have also been available. To celebrate Toronto’s multicultural diversity, the Taste of Danforth started back in 1993. It has been taking place every year now for over 20 years! Considered to be Canada’s largest and leading street festival, which attracts close to a million visitors within the 3-day span, it’s one not to be missed! This year, Taste of Danforth will be held on August 7, 8, and 9.TasteoftheDanforth
