2015 is whizzing on by and when most people think of the month of May, they think of summer being around the corner. The weather isn’t going to be the only thing hot this summer in Toronto. There are many hot concerts in the month of May to look forward to.

Jessie goes for something and she tends to make it happen. The singer/songwriter is set to perform at the Danforth Music Hall on May 7th and she’s bringing everything she has. This woman knows her to party and its well noted on her Sweet Talker album. It shouldn’t be hard for the “Bang Bang” artist to fill seats and sweet talk you into spending your money for a ticket. - Joey Bada$$

Thanks to Malia Obama rocking a Joey Bada$$ shirt , everyone knows at least his name. Concertgoers described Joey’s concert as “8 Mile raw” and “hands down one of the best performances.” You can check out his performance for yourself on May 9 at The Danforth Music Hall. - CBC Music.CA Festival

This music festival has a colorful line up and children under twelve get in free so it’s a family affair at TD Echo Beach on May 23. Rain or shine Patrick Watson, Bahamas and the 2015
Searchlight Winner will be there. What’s better than family, fun, music and good food?

Raekwon is notoriously known as a member of the Wu-Tang-Clan. But he can most definitely shine on his own. Fans can catch him performing at The Phoenix Concert Theater on May 22nd. Apparently, he’s also bringing along Ghostface Kilah. If those two being rap legends isn’t enough to persuade you to buy a ticket, I don’t know what is. Raekwon is pushing his Fly International Luxurious Art album that drops on the 28th. - Brandi Carlile

Brandi Carlile may be a small girl but she has a big voice that is selling tour tickets like a hot cakes so you might want to get your tickets sooner than later. You can catch her May 27th at the Danforth Music Hall. She’s promoting her album The FireWatcher’s Daughter which is available now. - Thugli

With over 50,000 likes on Facebook, there’s no argument that Thugli is two likable guys with infectious dance music. If you feel a crazy need to dance and party you can check out Thugli at The Hoxton on May 1st. They’ve brought along Pusher and HRMXNY. For fifteen dollars a ticket, this sounds like quite the party. - Unison Jam
Unison Jam is the cherry on top of the Canadian Music Week sundae. Twenty dollars will get you a concert with quite a list of headliners. If you’re interested in alternative rock, there’s something for you here and if you’re interested in pop and urban, there’s also something for you to jam to. From K-OS to Jason McCoy, Unison Jam is covering all their musical bases. You can check out this celebration May 6 at Phoenix Concert Theater.
