If you like hip-hop and you don’t live under a rock, you’ve heard rapper Drake’s OVO Fest. OVO Fest is when rapper Drake invites everyone that is anyone to Toronto to wow his city. The festival was usually two days long but this year the festivities will go on for one extra day.
Drake announced the lineup via Twitter and it’s pretty epic. Festivities kick off on Saturday by comedian Kevin Hart. There will be performances by Jeremih, Nas, Omen, Cozz, Big Sean, J.Cole and of course Drake. Expect lots of Drake. Usually Drake brings out lots of surprise guests. Last year rap duo Outkast performed.
The 6ixth annual OVO Festival takes place August 1-3 at the Air Canada Centre and Molson Canadian Amphitheatre. Tickets went on sale less than a month ago and some of the events happening there are already sold out. If you’re looking for a ticket to attend this festival of all festivals, you’re going to have to cough up at least $370. Apparently these tickets are so hot that some of them are going for up to $2,000. OVO Fest’s tickets are expected to sell out quickly and judging by the trends, they will be long gone before August.
How much are you willing to pay to attend OVO Fest? What would be you dream lineup for OVO Fest?
