When we think about Toronto so many things come to mind that certifies our city as world class… our beautiful multi-cultural communities, the arts, our amazing culinary industry, an immaculate list of passionate and brilliant entrepreneurs, and everything from hosting TIFF to Gay Pride, and who could forget about our booming entertainment and nightlife industry. coda 1 year toronto love this city

On any given weekend you can explore our growing entertainment districts and find an array of nightclubs and venues…wherever you turn and whatever music you’re into there is somewhere to go and always a bigger and better party.

If you are an advocate of the underground scene here in Toronto you will know that 1) it’s not so “underground” anymore and 2) our city has evolved into one that the worlds best DJ’s applaud our energy and make it a mandatory tour stop to play for our beautiful and quickly growing community of music enthusiasts. There has been so many venues and so many amazing people behind our scene that has made it into what it is today. From the legendary warehouse raves back in the day, SSB,  Hotel, Guv, Ryze, to good old Comfort Zone, and the list goes on- there are so many groups and promoters that devote their lives to hosting parties every weekend so that the amazing energy that lives in our city never dies. We have made Toronto into a truly magical place and we have grown so much together!

Out of all the nightclubs that have come and gone and all the venues that welcomed some of the worlds top DJ’s, there is one in particular that we can all agree is here to stay and is quite simply the best of the best. A great location, an amazing sound system, so many talented and passionate people behind it, and in the the absolute best way possible is dark and sweaty and oozes with an energy which is completely indescribable. CODA is celebrating it’s 1 year anniversary this weekend and we couldn’t be more grateful they opened their doors to all of us after their expansion from the legendary Footwork Nightclub.coda 1 year toronto love this city tv
